Movin' Out

I took over this blog back in the frantic days of August, 2006, shortly before the September primaries. As did the original blogger, I remained anonymous. I stated, however, that if I felt my affiliations got in the way of good blogging and calling it like I see it, then I would give it up.

Well, that time has come. Between some political issues and my own personal constraints (work, time, etc.), I don't feel like I can continue to do this effectively. I've thought about it quite a bit over the past three weeks (no posting) and have concluded that it's time to retire, at least from this blog.

When I came in, it was as a result of a "public offer" to take it over. I will extend the same offer -- if you want the keys to the car known as MoCoPolitics, send me an e-mail stating, in 100 words or less, why you think you should get it. If no one wants it, I will shut the blog down, effective one week from today (June 22). If I don't like any of the offers, I reserve the right to shut it down regardless, so make your best pitch. E-mail address is mocopolitics@yahoo.com.

It's been a fun ride, but it's time to bring the curtain down. See ya.
